In a world of logic, reason and science, why do millions of people still follow a religion that is nearly 2000 years old? How can any faith compete with the collective knowledge and wisdom of modern society? Isn't it time to start demanding that religions either stand up to the rigors of intellectual investigation or be discarded in the name of progress?
Mankind has had greater advances in education and science over the past 100 years than ever before. Once upon a time the horse and buggy were cutting edge technology, but now we fly around in jet aircraft. Our knowledge of physics, astronomy and other sciences has absolutely exploded. So why does anyone still listen to an ancient religion that is thousands of years old?
Everywhere you go on the internet today, and I mean EVERYWHERE, there are debates going on about Christianity, and these debates can get incredibly heated. Some of the best minds and some of the best educated people in the world claim to have the answers. Atheists, skeptics, philosophers, preachers, bloggers and other self-appointed religious experts are constantly battling for the intellectual high ground.
So who is right?
Do logic, reason and modern science have anything to say about religion?
Can religion survive in an era when most of the people are educated and when many people look at religious claims with skepticism?
When skeptics attack most religions, they DO indeed have the intellectual high ground. For when one closely examines such "faiths" as Islam or Hinduism one does find that logic, reason and real, hard evidence are directly contradictory to these religious systems.
However, Christianity is the one faith that is different in this regard. It is our assertion that there is absolutely no conflict between Christianity and the truth.
If you make the decision to actually investigate these matters objectively, you will find that Christianity has a MOUNTAIN of evidence to support it. Those who have actually studied these things with an open mind know the truth.
Dr. Simon Greenleaf (Harvard University - one of the greatest professors of Law in U.S. history) once said: "According to the laws of legal evidence used in courts of law, there is more evidence for the historical fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ than for just about any other event in history."
Have you ever spent much time wondering if Christianity is true or not?

We have studied these matters for over 20 years, and we have come to the conclusion that after you have asked all the questions, and after you have done all the research, the evidence does lead to an overwhelming conclusion:
Christianity is true.
But the sad reality is that the vast majority of Christians do not know how to defend the Christian faith. Why? Because the church has done an absolutely MISERABLE job of teaching people about the evidence for Christianity. So when Christians come up against atheists, skeptics and self-appointed, know-it-all "experts" they don't know how to respond to their questions.
We would encourage all of you to investigate these matters for yourself.

Oprah Winfrey is continuing her crusade to redefine religion and spirituality in America.
A while back, Oprah Winfrey shocked many people in the United States by having two clergymen on her show who proclaimed to the world that "being gay is a gift from God."
That show predictably caused a significant response from people all across the religious spectrum.
In fact, it was such a huge response that Oprah decided to have one of those ministers, the Reverend Ed Bacon of the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California on her show once again.
The following video shows highlights from Bacon's first stunning appearance on Oprah, and it shows his more recent appearance on Oprah where he reaffirms his position that the Bible says that being gay is a gift from God.....

The God of the universe is very real, and He wants you to have eternal life and to live with him for eternity.
Today we wanted to share with you all the basic things that you need to know to become a Christian.....
1) God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.
God's Love "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
God's Plan [Christ speaking] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly" [that it might be full and meaningful] (John 10:10).
Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life?
Because...
2) Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.
Man Is Sinful "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.
Man Is Separated "The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God] (Romans 6:23).
How can we bridge this separation?
3) Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.
He Died in Our Place "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).
He Rose From the Dead "Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6).
He Is the Only Way to God "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me'" (John 14:6).
It is not enough to just know these things...
4) We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
We Must Receive Christ "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12).
We Receive Christ Through Faith "By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9).
We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation [Christ speaking] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him" (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer.
God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."

The world is more rapidly changing than ever before. This is a time of wars and rumors of wars, of economic collapse, of increasing terrorism, of rising famine, of devastating natural disasters, of environmental destruction and of global plagues.
The world is spinning out of control and with each passing year things seem to be getting worse.
That is because things ARE getting worse.
Politicians, celebrities and religious leaders run around claiming that they have some answers but nobody can seem to even slow down the building chaos.
The world as we all knew it has fundamentally changed, and many are wondering if the world is about to face the worst times it has ever seen.
The times that are approaching us are the times that Jesus spoke of in Luke 21:10-11.....
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
The vast majority of the population is not going to know how to handle these things. There will be mass panic and mass rioting as these things begin to take place. When people lose everything that they have worked for all of their lives and they realize that there is no hope, then the very worst of humanity will come out.
We will soon be facing the days that the apostle Paul wrote about in 2 Timothy 3:1-5.....
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power.

On a recent broadcast of the Oprah Winfrey show, not one, but two Christian pastors emphatically declared that "being gay is a gift from God."
In fact, in the stunning video footage below you will see one of the Christian ministers tell a gay person that he "is gay by divine right" and that part of being made in the image and likeness of God is to be gay because God made him that way.

Now Oprah's very strong promotion of gay marriage and the gay agenda has been known for a long time, but she has definitely taken things to a whole new level by having Christian ministers on her show who are openly teaching that being gay is a gift from God.
This is just another indication of the extent to which Oprah Winfrey is willing to go to try to influence spirituality in America.

As far as the Christian ministers on Oprah's program, perhaps they have never had the chance to read Romans 1:26-27.....
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
The reality is that the vast majority of Americans are now bound up in a variety of sexual sin: adultery, fornication, pornography, lust, orgies, etc. etc.
We should dearly love everyone who is caught up in any type of sin and pray that they will turn to God and be set free.
These are the end times and the reality is that wickedness is going to continue to increase. As sin continues to prosper, may we all dramatically increase our love so that we may shine like lights in the darkness.

How can mutations (recombing of the genetic code)create any new, improved varieties? (Recombing English Letters will never produce Chinese Books)
Is it possible that simularies in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor?
Natural Selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occured if evolution were true? [/b]

a) Single Celled plants become multicelled? (Where are the two and three celled intermediates?)
b) Single Celled Animals Evolve?
c) Fish change to amphibians?
d) Amphibians change to reptiles?
e) Reptiles Change to Birds? (The lungs bones, eyes, reproductive organs, heart, method of locomotion, body covering, ect, are all very different!) How did the intermediate forms live?)
When, where, why and how and from did Whales Evolve?
When, where, why and how and from did Sea Horses evolve?
When, where, why and how and from did Bats evolve?
When, where, why and how and from did Ears evolve?
When, where, why and how and from did Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, ect evolve?
Which evolved first (how and how long, did it work without others? Pertaining to the The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the bodies resistance to it's own digestive jiuces stomic intestines ect?
Which evolved first (how and how long, did it work without others? Pertaining to the drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce?

The twenty-year-old Bible student was asleep when he was awakened by shouts of "Allah-u-ahkar!" (Allah is Almighty) Radical Muslims entered his room and beat him nearly unconscious. As Dominggus fought to escape, a sickle came down on the back of his neck, nearly severing his head. The attackers left him in a growing pool of his own blood, assuming he would soon die.
Dominggus said that his spirit left his body and was carried by angels to heaven, and he witnessed his own corpse lying motionless on the ground. He no longer felt fear or pain, but rather peace as he awaited his new life with Christ. Then he heard, "It is not time for you to serve me here."
The next voices Dominggus heard were those of Indonesian emergency medical workers. Since they did not know whether he was Christian or Muslim, they were discussing where to take his body.
Dominggus prayed to God for strength to speak. Finally, the words "I am a Christian" came out. One can only imagine the look on the workers' faces as the "dead" student answered their question.
Today, Dominggus has fully recovered. He physical scars remain, but his spirit has a renewed faith and a message of forgiveness. Dominggus stated that he is closer to God, and now, he is actively praying for his Muslim neighbors - even those who attacked him.
Today atheists, skeptics and opponents of Christianity believe that they have the intellectual high ground when it comes to matters of logic, reason, science and faith. The reality is that the exact opposite is true, but our churches are doing a miserable job of equipping us to defend the faith. Hopefully blogs such as this will change all that.
