Well over 10 million Americans are practicing some form of yoga, but the vast majority of them have absolutely no idea what they are involving themselves in.
The truth is that you can't take yoga out of Hinduism and you can't take the Hinduism out of yoga.
For instance, did you know that "yoga" is literally a Sanskrit word that means to yoke with Brahman?
Did you know that many of the mantras that yoga instructors have their followers chant are actually the names of Hindu gods?
Did you know that many of the practices of yoga are specifically designed to call forth Hindu deities?
Did you know that a large percentage of people who get involved with yoga also get involved with Hinduism, New Age religion and the occult?

The video posted below takes a satirical look at the theory of evolution. The truth is that Darwinism is totally intellectually bankrupt, and it is time that the people of the world realized that fact.

So, you may ask, why do Christians celebrate Christmas on December 25th?
The truth is that there was a late December pagan holiday that was celebrated for centuries before Jesus was ever born.
The Roman Catholics decided to "christianize" that pagan holiday starting in 336 A.D. and turn it into a celebration of the birth of Christ.
The Ebla Tablets were originally discovered in northern Syria by two professors from the University of Rome, Dr. Paolo Matthiae and Dr. Giovanni Petinato. Since 1974, 17,000 priceless tablets have been found from the time of the ancient Ebla Kingdom.
The Ebla tablets appear to have been written during the two last generations of the city, which would mean they come from some time around 2300 B.C.
But the remarkable thing about the Ebla tablets is not how old they are, but rather the similarities to the Scriptures that they contain.
Many Old Testament names that have not been found in other Near Eastern languages have been reported to occur in similar forms in Eblaite (one of the two languages found on the tablets).
Adam, Eve, Abarama/Abraham, Bilhah, Ishmael, Esau, Mika-el, Saul and David are just some of the Biblical names that have been found on the tablets. Not that the tablets are referring to those specific people - just that it shows that those names were commonly used in ancient times.
In addition, a substantial number of ancient Biblical cities are also mentioned in the tablets.
For example Ashtaroth, Sinai, Jerusalem, Hazor, Lachish, Megiddo, Gaza, Joppa, Ur, and Damascus are apparently mentioned in the tablets.
Giovanni Pettinato also found references to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.
There was also one key discovery in the tablets that relates to Genesis 14. Skeptics have claimed that the victory of Abraham over Chedorlaomer and the Mesopotamian kings is made up and that the five "cities of the plain" (Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, Zeboiim and Zoar) are legendary.
But as usual the skeptics are wrong.
The Ebla tablets refer to all five of the cities of the plain and on one tablet the cities are listed in the exact same sequence as we find in Genesis 14.
One of the most stunning discoveries of all, however, was when a "creation hymn" was found among the tablets.
Three versions of this Eblaite "creation hymn" were found. The creation hymn was translated by Pettinato as follows:
Lord of heaven and earth: the earth was not, you created it, the light of day was not, you created it, the morning light you had not [yet] made exist.
Even in the midst of such a pagan culture, an ancient hymn about a "Lord of heaven and earth" who created the earth was able to survive.
Absolutely stunning.
Let us pray that even more incredible discoveries will come out of the Middle East, because with each new discovery the accuracy of the Scriptures is further validated.
Do you think it is something that the church just made up?
Well, it does actually exist.
The truth is that Jesus himself talked more about hell than anyone else in the Bible. The following are some of the terms that Jesus used to describe hell.....
"fire" (Matthew 7:19, 13:40, 25:41)
"everlasting fire" (Matthew 18:8, 25:41)
"eternal damnation" (Mark 3:29)
"hell fire" (Matthew 5:22, 18:9, Mark 9:47)
"damnation" (Matthew 23:14, Mark 12:40, Luke 20:47)
"damnation of hell" (Matthew 23:33)
"resurrection of damnation" (John 5:29)
"furnace of fire" (Matthew 13:42, 50)
"the fire that never shall be quenched" (Mark 9:43, 45)
"the fire is not quenched" (Mark 9:44, 46, 48)
"Where their worm dieth not" (Mark 9:44, 46, 48)
"wailing and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 13:42, 50)
"weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 8:12, 22:13, 25:30)
"torments" (Luke 16:23)
"tormented in this flame" (Luke 16:24)
"place of torment" (Luke 16:28)
"outer darkness" (Matthew 8:12, 22:13)
"everlasting punishment" (Matthew 25:46)
But the good news is that Jesus died on the cross so that you can escape hell and live with God forever:

There is quite a bit of confusion out there on the internet today about the origin of the four gospels.
The four gospels are essentially "biographies" of Jesus that describe the events of His life and ministry, and yet most people (including most Christians) do not know who wrote them or when they were written.
These are very important questions. It is vitally important to know if we can rely on these documents to be accurate sources of information about the historical Jesus.

Those who seek to try to debunk Christianity seem to have an endless supply of crackpot theories.
One of the latest trends is for these "skeptics" to pick up on the flawed theories of Kersey Graves, Acharya S and others who claim that the stories about Jesus Christ in the Bible can find their origins in the pagan religions which were around before Jesus was born.

Another type of evidence for Christianity is the evidence of intelligent design in the fine tuning of the universe.
Renowned Princeton physicist Freeman Dyson, who is not a Christian, has stated the following about this amazing phenomenon:
"There are many . . . lucky accidents in physics. Without such accidents, water could not exist as liquid, chains of carbon atoms could not form complex organic molecules, and hydrogen atoms could not form breakable bridges between molecules".
The world famous astrophysicist Sir Fred Hoyle once said the following:
"I do not believe that any scientists who examined the evidence would fail to draw the inference that the laws of nuclear physics have been deliberately designed with regard to the consequences they produce inside stars. If this is so, then my apparently random quirks have become part of a deep-laid scheme. If not then we are back again at a monstrous sequence of accidents."
The following are just a few examples of this extraordinary fine tuning that we see in the universe:
-If the strong nuclear force, the force that binds protons and neutrons together in an atom, had been stronger or weaker by as little as 5%, life would be completely impossible.
-If gravity was stronger or weaker by the slimmest of margins, then life sustaining stars like the sun could not exist. This would also make life impossible.
-If the neutron were not about 1.001 times the mass of the proton, all protons would have decayed into neutrons or all neutrons would have decayed into protons, and therefore life would not be possible.
-If the electromagnetic force were slightly stronger or weaker, life would be impossible, for a multitude of different reasons.

Who decided what books were going to make it into the New Testament?
You know, most Christians have not even considered that question.
Most Christians don't even think about it.
Even though there has been a relentless assault on the Bible in movies, television, books and other media, most American Christians still stick their heads in the sand and won't think about where the Bible originally came from.
Rather than being able to defend the Bible, we have noticed in our interactions with America's pastors and spiritual leaders that most of them have NO IDEA where the Bible came from.
In particular, we have noticed that there is substantial confusion even among America's Christian leaders regarding the development of the New Testament.
Even most pastors have fallen for the misconception that a bunch of people sat around a big table during some grand "council" (such as the Council of Nicaea) called by Rome and picked out which books would go into the New Testament.
Hopefully after enough people read this article this question will be settled once and for all.
First of all, the canon of the New Testament was not even remotely on the agenda at the Council of Nicaea:
But that fact hasn't stopped Dan Brown, the author of the Davinci Code, and many others from trying to promote the claim that that New Testament books were not decided upon until the 4th century during the Roman Catholic councils.
So does this ridiculous claim have any merit whatsoever?
Well, for starters, Dan Brown is not a religious expert in the least. In fact, Dan Brown admitted in court that his wife did most of the research for the Davinci Code:
The truth of the matter is that the Davinci Code is interesting fiction, but the facts about the development of the New Testament tell us an entirely different story:
Fact #1) Paul's letters were already considered scripture in the mid 1st century. Take a look at how the apostle Peter himself called Paul's letters Scripture:
2 Peter 3:14-16
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
Fact #2) The apostle Paul, writing between A.D. 62 and A.D. 65, quoted Luke 10:7 and called it Scripture:
Luke 10:7
Stay in that house, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages.
Now look at how Paul quoted Luke 10:7 as Scripture in 1 Timothy 5:18....
For the Scripture says, "Do not muzzle the ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages."
This clearly establishes that the apostle Paul himself considered the gospel of Luke to be Scripture in the middle of the 1st century. It is not surprising that the apostle Paul had access to the gospel of Luke since it was written by his traveling companion Luke.
Fact #3) Irenaeus, writing about 170 A.D., tells us that the four-fold gospel was already a rock solid fact by then:
But it is not possible that the Gospels can be either more or fewer in number than they are. For since there are four zones of the world in which we live, and four principal winds, while the church has been scattered throughout the world, and since the "pillar and ground" of the church is the Gospel and the spirit of life, it is fitting that she should have four pillars, breathing incorruption on every side, and vivifying human afresh. From this fact, it is evident that the Logos, the fashioner [demiourgos] of all, he that sits on the cherubim and holds all things together, when he was manifested to humanity, gave us the gospel under four forms but bound together by one spirit. (Against Heresies 3.11.8)
If the four gospels had already been well established by 170 A.D., then how in the world can anyone claim that the four gospels were picked out in the 4th century?
Fact #4) The fact of the four-fold gospel is also reflected in the "Muratorian Fragment" which was written about the same time (around 170 A.D.) that Irenaeus was writing. The Muratorian Fragment lists for us almost the entire New Testament canon. The document may have indeed been a complete list of New Testament books, but we only have a portion of the ancient document. While we do not have the very beginning of the document or the very end of the document, the portion of the document that we do have tells us that there are FOUR (and only four) gospels.
Fact #5) We have approximately 50 manuscripts of the New Testament that PRE-DATE the Roman takeover of the established church in the 4th century. So there WAS a New Testament before Rome ever called a "council".
Fact #6) We have more than 32 THOUSAND New Testament quotations from the early church writers of the 2nd and 3rd centuries. In fact, we could recreate virtually the entire New Testament just from the quotes of the early church writers of the 2nd and 3rd centuries. We can be QUITE certain that the New Testament we have today has come down to us just as it was from the earliest days, and we can be QUITE certain what the early Christians of the 2nd and 3rd centuries considered to be Scripture.
Yes, the Roman government came along in the 4th century and corrupted and paganized the institutional church. There were many Christians who resisted this, and they were persecuted brutally. However, Christianity and the Bible were doing JUST FINE before Rome ever came on the scene. Anyone who says that the books of the New Testament were selected in the 4th century simply does not know their history.
When one debates evolution is is easy to "lose the forest for the trees" sometimes. Many times a debate with a Darwinist can focus in on very small details and miss the larger perspective that taking an overall view of the evidence can provide.
The truth is that there is a huge mountain of evidence for the creationist model, and below we wanted to highlight just a few "stones" from that mountain.
First of all, we wanted to explore a riddle that was originally conceived by author Perry Marshall:

1) DNA is not merely a molecule with a pattern; it is a code, a language, and an information storage mechanism.
2) All codes are created by a conscious mind; there is no natural process known to science that creates coded information.
3) Therefore DNA was designed by a mind.
If you can provide an empirical example of a code or language that occurs naturally, you've toppled my proof. All you need is one.

What Perry Marshall has said is very true.
The information that we find in DNA is very clearly a type of language, and languages don't just pop into existence from nothing.
When we find elements of design, it should not surprise us at all that there is an intelligent designer behind it all.
Secondly, we wanted to highlight some cutting edge science that very few people are aware of.
Wouldn't it be an absolutely amazing discovery if soft tissue was found in dinosaur bones?
Well, it has!

One of the amazing findings that the article above discusses involves the discovery of "70-million-year-old" soft tissue, including what may be blood vessels and cells, from a Tyrannosaurus Rex.
How in the world could that be possible?
How could soft tissue possibly survive intact for millions of years?
Or perhaps could our dating of these dinosaurs be way, way, way off after all?
But the reality is that this discovery, along with discoveries of giant bones and the discovery of human tools in rock that is supposed to be millions of years old will be repressed by the "scientific" community and will receive zero coverage in the mainstream media.
Why?
Because such discoveries do not support the orthodox Darwinist worldview.
The truth is that the establishment does not want to discuss anything that challenges the fairytale of evolution.
